1953 Born in Hagi City as the eldest son of 7th Kaneta Sanzaemon
1977 Graduated from Department of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of Education
1979 Tsukuba Graduate School of Arts Graduate School , Department of Fine Arts Completed
1981 Participated in Hagi International Sculpture symposium (stone carving)
1985 Became an official member of the Japan Art and Crafts Institute (’91 Retired)
1989 Hagi City Education and Culture Promotion Award
1994 Featured on NHK Television, “Japanese pottery Travelogue”
1996 Award of Promotion and Encouragement for Art and Culture in Yamaguchi Prefecture
1998 Featured on NHK Television, “Exploring Yakimono”
1999 Enargia Award for Contemporary Art (Energia Culture and Sports Foundation)
2000 Became Associate Professor at Tsukuba University (’03 Retired)
2004 Yamaguchi Prefectural Culture Contribution Award
2005 Become the 8th generation of Tenchozan Kiln
2014 Yamaguchi Prefecture Award (Artistic/Cultural Merit)
2016 Tenchozan kiln started 200 years anniversary
